Modular skid-mounted units

Modular skid-mounted units offer significant advantages: short changeover times and minimal modification of production systems used in industries such as pharmaceutical, food and chemical. Pharmatec builds turnkey systems for the high-purity sector. We take care of all aspects: mechanical and electrical engineering, instrumentation and automation. This cooperation minimizes the additional workload for customers. Pharmatec handles the EI&A aspects and is also responsible for mechanical engineering, including tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, flow sensors, fittings and sampling points, etc.

Skid assemblies and skid construction for high purity

Skid modules can be used to produce purified water (PW), water for injection (WFI), clean steam (CS) and other high purity fluids. Skid-mounted systems can be used in the pharmaceutical, food, life sciences and biotech industries for the production of drugs, human injection fluids, nutritional supplements for vulnerable individuals and vitamins. The chemical industry is another area where skid-mounted systems are increasingly being used to produce raw materials for biopolymers (polymers that occur naturally in the body) for pharmaceutical purposes.


Advise, design, build, maintain

We are involved in a client's project from the early stages. This gives us the opportunity to advise in the following phases: User Requirement Spec, Conceptual Design, Basic Design, Detailed Design, Construction (mechanical engineering + electrical, instrumentation and automation), Qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ), Validation and Service & Training. 

Due to a shortage of in-house project/process engineers, there is a significant loss of expertise in the industry. Customers increasingly need specific advice. Advice that Pharmatec provides. The customer tells us what the needs are in production. Armed with that information, we create a design in close consultation with the customer and have a continuous feedback loop with the customer up to the IQ/OQ phase. This is how we manage the process for manufacturing plants and systems, from the request phase to final delivery and completion.
